Security fence being installed

A security fence is being installed outside the front of MHC, this is due to staff concerns in the morning regarding needles from drug use being found in doorways, and some unfortunate incidents where rough sleepers have become abusive to staff trying to open the building for patients/team members. We continue to be supportive of homeless patients, but staff safety must be paramount, so this project is beginning towards the end of this week.

We welcome all neighbours to contact the local homeless charity organisations, especially in the colder weather, who will be able to lend support to individuals who are in this unfortunate situation.
