We recently sent a text message to all our patients in order to provide an update on the services we are currently able to provide during the recent surge in the Covid pandemic. Thank you to the vast majority who offered support and understanding for the current situation.
Sadly however, some of our patients responded to our message with rude and inappropriate replies.
We continue to work within difficult and challenging times because of COVID-19. We understand that this has been strange and uncertain time for everyone. The effects of the Covid pandemic have had a huge impact on the services that we can provide and we ask for your patience as we work through this. Please be assured that the clinical and administrative staff employed at the practice continue to work extremely hard to meet the needs of our patients as best as they can under such unusual circumstances.
Those messages left us saddened as we endeavour to cope with the unprecedented pressures during these demanding times.
We would ask those patients to reflect on their actions in sending such offensive messages, and to please not communicate with the practice in this manner again.
Alternatively, they may feel that their medical needs may be better served by registering at a practice elsewhere within the local area.
